There are direct flights from the mainland to Pico, Faial, Terceira, São Miguel, and Santa Maria. All these islands have flights to São Jorge via SATA (Azores Airlines).

From Pico and Faial (Horta), there are daily ferry connections (by Atlanticoline) to the port of Velas (the nearest port to Cabanas da Viscondessa, in São Jorge).
Getting Around the Island
