Doroteia Silveira
Maria Doroteia Silveira de Azevedo was the sister of the Viscondessa, to whom she always felt very attached.
She married a cousin, José Acácio da Silveira Noronha, who, like her, had roots in Ribeira Seca. Both were the great-grandchildren of António da Silveira e Ávila, the Sergeant Major of the town of Calheta who built the beautiful residence and chapel known as Nossa Senhora dos Milagres (Our Lady of Miracles).
Doroteia and José Acácio had four daughters. All four nieces of the Viscondessa inherited and shared the fortune of the Teixeira Soares family among themselves.

We are closed for annual holidays in December and January.
Terms of Payment and Cancellation Policy
Payment:
- Booking Guarantee: 10% of the total value, paid upon reservation;
- The remaining amount must be paid up to 10 days before the arrival date.
Cancellation:
- For cancellation up to 10 days before arrival, client will receive back the amount already paid;
- With less notice or no show, the amount paid is not refundable.
